Description

When levelling an object or marking out, poor lighting conditions can slow work down. Now the 196-2 LED with its illuminated vials lets you take accurate readings and keep working – the job gets done. The tough reinforced aluminum profile together with the STABILA locked vial system is the ideal combination on any harsh building site. Because the purpose of our levels is to be accurate and stay accurate.

Ultra-rigid aluminium profile with reinforcing ribs for high stability and finger-grip opening for easy use (the 122-cm-long version is fitted with two finger-grip openings).
Two integrated LED light sources ensure intense, balanced illumination for optimum readability of horizontal and vertical vials, even under poor visibility conditions.
Automatic switch-off to protect battery life.
End caps with an slip-stopper – for a firm seat when marking.
Shock-absorbing end caps – the two-component material mix protects the profile against impact.
Removable end caps – exact positioning and marking right up into the corners.
Spirit level with two precision-milled measuring surfaces – no discolourations on the surface.
STABILA installation technology ensures long-term accuracy – measuring accuracy in normal and reverse position of ± 0.5 mm/m.
